As CEO of Ronald McDonald House Glasgow I am proud to share our 2022 Annual Accounts.
The impact of all we do cannot be captured in these pages alone. Over the past twelve months our team have provided practical and emotional support to over 500 families from across the UK facing some of their most uncertain and difficult moments. We strive to offer them a ‘home away from home’ while their child receives treatment at Glasgow’s Royal Hospital for Children, and the demand for our service has never been higher or more important.
Since taking on this role in January I have been continuously inspired by the dedication of all the staff at Ronald McDonald House Glasgow. I want to thank them for all they do and the difference they make in the lives of our families every single day.
In these challenging times, all of us at RMHG are more grateful than ever for the continued support of our donors: whether big or small, new or long-standing. Your efforts, like those of the Davis Family and their community in Stornoway who raised over £2,100 through a ‘Soup and Pudding’ get-together, or of one-year old Ruadhàn who raised £1,000 by toddling one kilometer, and the McKenna family completing a skydive in memory of their daughter Harley, are what enable us to keep our doors open and be there for those who need us.
