31st Bedroom Opened at the House!
During our launch day on Wednesday 9 January we were super excited to officially open our 31st bedroom and brand new reception lounge and family meeting and greeting rooms. Our special thanks goes to the Narrie Family and especially to adorable, superstar Josh. They cut the the ribbon alongside our Chairman David Watson and Ayrshire-based artist Steven Brown with his multicoloured McCoo’s Harris & Betty.
The launch was well supported by around thirty wonderful guests, with kind donations of delicious and beautiful cakes for all of them to enjoy during the celebrations! Thanks go to Govan ASDA, Cumbernauld Tesco Extra, Cake Pigeon and Balloons and Gas Ltd, who provided decorations.
Our contractors worked tirelessly over the final months of 2018 to turn our vision into a reality, thank you Thomas Johnstone Ltd, Arthur McKay, Doig + Smith and Threesixty Architecture – your work will support so many more families for years to come. We are truly fortunate to have so much support, thank you: Steven Brown Art for providing all the beautiful, bright artwork and soft furnishings for our new rooms, and Hunter Furnishing + Hampton & McMurray for donating furniture to help us make these new areas more homely and practical.
