We are absolutely thrilled to introduce you all to the new CEO of Ronald McDonald House Glasgow…Ken Simpson.

Ken has over 30 years experience in senior roles in the Third Sector, at Guide Dogs and The Association of Social Service, having previously worked Health and Social Work in the West of Scotland. He is a graduate of RGU and the Open University. He is a Chartered Manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and Institute of Directors. He also held several Non-Executive appointments in both public and private sectors.

We asked Ken what drew him to RMHG and he explained ‘𝘏𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘮 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘪𝘴, 𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭. 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵’.

Fun fact about Ken… he has a labradoodle puppy called Harris who is (hopefully) going to keep him fit.
