The Charity has received the most magical delivery of books from Rare Birds Book Club, offering our families an escape from reality for a few short hours.
This online book club champions female authors and has a mission to make reading fun! They have put together a wonderful collection of fiction books for us to share.
The collection of children and adults novels will see two books placed into each one of our 31 bedrooms. This will help the families to take some time for themselves when they need it most.
It is well known that reading to children is fantastic for their development. A good story can spark the imagination and stimulate curiosity. This is even more important in a restrictive hospital environment.
