The Ronald McDonald Houses Scotland Ball, held on Friday 17 May 2019, was a massive success! This was a joint event in support of both Ronald McDonald House Glasgow and Ronald McDonald House Charities (of whom the new Edinburgh House is a part).

Cheeky chappy Host Peter Martin led everyone through the night with plenty of laughter, interesting anecdotes and an auction we won’t forget. While family speakers Carla and Ross shared their emotional yet uplifting story of how the House in Glasgow had really helped them to carry on through a very difficult time with their son while he was in the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow.

The Ball was well supported by 528 fantastic guests, who gave generously and took part in all our fantastic fundraising activities – many walking home with a jaw dropping prize or two!

The Anchormen Jazz Orchestra then provided fantastic entertainment into the wee hours with some jazzy takes on classic hits…the dance floor was always full!

A huge thank you to all who supported the event – our fun-loving attendees, generous prize donors, fantastic suppliers, the most wonderful committee and last but by no means least our super sponsors, without which this night could have not have happened.

The night raised an incredible £127,000 and will be split equally between both Ronald McDonald House Glasgow and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

We can’t wait to see you all at the next one in 2020!
