At the end of September, we were absolutely delighted to hold a Golf Day at Turnberry’s King Robert the Bruce Course.

The return of live events…

This was Ronald McDonald House Glasgow’s first live fundraising event since 2019, as the Covid-19 pandemic put a temporary stop to the events we all know and love. We were so excited to welcome our 18 teams of supporters and get out onto the Course!

After a tasty breakfast in the Clubhouse – and despite it being a very rainy day – our golfers had a great time as they made their way around the Course following a shotgun start, participating in exciting competition holes as they went. At the end of the day, everyone was happy to head indoors to dry off and enjoy a drinks reception, dinner, prizegiving and raffle back at the Caledonia Ballroom in the hotel.

A fantastic total was raised!

Our Golf Day raised a fantastic £15,000! This will make a huge difference to families from all across the country by keeping them close to their child in hospital during the most difficult of times.

Thank you so much to everyone who sponsored the event, attended on the day, donated a prize for our raffle and came along to volunteer. We couldn’t have done it without your wonderful support.

Why not have a look through our virtual photo album to catch up on all the action from the day? You can view it here .

Stay tuned for more information on next year’s Golf Day!
