Thank You Picnic Goers!
Ronald McDonald House Glasgow held their first ever Ted’s Teddy Bear Picnic during the last weekend of August! We were delighted by how many people signed up for their very own picnic pack. Each and everyone helping to raise much needed funds for the House during a year of virtual and socially distanced fundraising!!
Covid-19 Proof Fundraising…
The fundraising team at Ronald McDonald House Glasgow launched this brand new event to the Charity’s fundraising calendar in response to the pandemic. After sweeping changes to our everyday lives the Charity was no longer able to host it’s usual headline events. Each year we put on a fantastical Ball, a fabulous Ladies Lunch and a fresh Sports Dinner. NOT in 2020 though!! All of these events had to be postponed for the safety of our guests, volunteers and staff. And that was not all, mass participation events such as marathons, walks and endurance were either cancelled or transformed into virtual events. Needless to say, we have needed and welcomed fundraisers support more than ever before.

So, with huge gratitude and pleasure we can announce that you raised £1,719.13!!! This is an amazing start to a new chapter in our fundraising activities. Thank you all so much for standing by Ronald McDonald House Glasgow. Through your generosity we will continue to keep our doors open to more families in need. Families who have seriously ill children in hospital and so desperately need to stay close to them. Families who can finally rest and recuperate in the House, ready to support their children through the trials of life in hospital. You are all super stars and we solute you.
