Fun for all the family…
Shorter days combined with dark mornings can make it a little bit harder to get up and get out. Thankfully, the Supernova Kelpies Challenge is here! This fantastic 5K route is a great opportunity to explore the home of two 30-metre high horses! The Kelpies are mythical creatures who love to play at dusk, each one weighs over 300 tonnes. It’s a fantastic family fundraising activity to bring in much-needed funds for Ronald McDonald House Glasgow.

Take a beautiful and iconic venue such as The Kelpies, wait until dusk, get the family together (and we mean everyone – grandparents, uncles, aunties, parents, kids, friends!), dig out the flourescent clothing and grab everything and anything that glows or flashes. Then set off on a Supernova 5K! The Supernova 5K event is the perfect way to get involved in a timed 5K with your family and friends, whilst taking in the atmosphere and fun. Starting & finishing within Helix Park, this beautiful route allows runners the rare opportunity to run alongside the iconic Kelpie sculptures, which are lit up and change colour at dusk to create a beautiful spectacle for participants and spectators alike!
